1975
Gaoshan Valve Factory was founded.
Led by the village chief, 5 engineers and 20 workers founded Gaoshanshui Heating Equipment Factory. Valve production officially launched on May 2, 1975.
1979
Gaoshan Trademark Registered
As Gaoshan Valve Factory expanded steadily, we matured production capacity for steam traps, globe valves, check valves, blowdown valves and gate valves.
The official “Gao Shan” trademark was registered on October 31, 1979.
1982
Gaoshan Built Independent Casting Production Line
With expanding valve product lines and growing sales volume, Gaoshan launched in-house casting for valve bodies.
We adopted cupola melting technology for raw materials including plain iron, cast iron and ductile iron.
This upgrade cut production costs while stabilizing product quality.
We uphold the principle that quality is the lifeline of Gaoshan Valves, driving stable and sustainable business growth.
1986
Workers’ Congress Convened in May
At the request of Xingyang Military Affairs Office, a factory militia unit was established within Gaoshan Valve. Gaoshan Valve officially transformed into a town-owned collective enterprise, belonging to residents of Gaoshan Town. The factory drove local economic growth: it offered stable employment opportunities and forged a strong collective sense of honor for the brand. Product quality remained the core top priority guiding all corporate development.
1990
The Asian Games
Gaoshan Valve supplied valves for Asian Games venues, a milestone that filled our team with great pride amid China’s rising economic and living standards.
1995
First Export Order
We shipped 55 sets of DIN standard gate valves to Russia via a foreign trade corporation, marking our first overseas shipment; approved by Russian clients, this laid a solid foundation for export expansion and market diversification.
1998
Gaoshan Valve Passed ISO9001 Certification
As market demands for quality grew, we completed national product qualification and obtained ISO9001 certificate, reaffirming our long-standing quality-first principle.
2002
API Certification Obtained
As export business expanded, we launched American standard valve production and passed API certification to access the US market, with premium quality driving our sustainable growth.
2004
Staff University Training Launched
We sent employees to university for mechanical, valve and material technical training, and launched in-house Gaoshan Newspaper with staff-written articles to enrich corporate cultural life.
2006
CE Certificate Approved
With expanding export destinations and rising European market recognition, we obtained CE certification, and were also awarded the government’s Product Quality Inspection Exemption Certificate that same year.
2008
Steam Trap Design Patent Obtained
After repeated tests and years of production experience, we optimized our steam trap (a key heating pipeline valve for draining condensate, sealing steam and saving energy) and secured official design patent certification.
2010
Elected Director Unit of China Valve Industry Association
With years of operation, full product series and national-standard quality, Gaoshan Valve held a key position in domestic valve manufacturing and was appointed director member of the national valve industry association.
2012
New Automatic Casting Line
We launched an integrated smelting & casting automatic production line, cutting labor input and lifting overall productivity amid advancing domestic industrial technology.
2014
Coating Process Mechanized
We constructed an eco-friendly automatic spraying workshop with professional coating engineers to safeguard staff health and the environment, raising painting speed while delivering uniform, glossy coatings for refined valve appearance.
2017
Visitors from 78 Countries Visited Us
Visitors from 78 Countries Visited Us In response to the Belt and Road Initiative, we received officials and engineers from 78 nations, showcasing high-quality valves and China’s open demeanor to pursue mutual growth.

EU CE PED Recertification Audit
EU auditors conducted a two-day recertification audit in June per PED Directive, verifying continuous compliance and effectiveness of our PED Module H system via document review and on-site inspection.
