6. Installation & Maintenance Guidelines

  • Remove the flange protective covers and clean the valve thoroughly in fully open position before installation.
  • Install the valve in horizontal or vertical pipeline positions, ensuring no stress on the valve body from pipe misalignment.
  • Clean the pipeline thoroughly before installation to prevent debris from damaging the PTFE seat and ball surface.
  • Do not use the valve actuator as a lifting point to avoid damage to the mechanism and accessories.
  • After installation, tighten the flange bolts evenly in a crisscross pattern to ensure uniform sealing pressure.
  • For actuated valves, perform signal testing before installation to ensure smooth operation of the actuator.
