The J41H / J41Y series is a flanged rising-stem globe valve engineered for precise flow regulation and reliable shutoff in water, steam, and oil service. Featuring an outside screw and yoke (OS&Y) construction, the rising stem design provides immediate visual confirmation of valve position — an essential safety feature in high-pressure industrial piping systems. The valve body adopts a straight-through or Y-pattern flow path that minimizes pressure drop compared to conventional globe valves while maintaining excellent throttling characteristics.
The product line spans a comprehensive range of pressure classes from PN16 to PN160 and sizes DN20 through DN300, with body materials matched to service conditions: gray cast iron and ductile iron for general water service up to 200–300°C, WCB carbon steel for steam and oil up to 425°C, and chrome-molybdenum steel for high-temperature power generation and refinery applications up to 550°C. All models feature 2Cr13 stainless steel stem and disc with cast aluminum bronze stem nut, and flexible graphite packing for temperature-resistant sealing.
The J41Y-160I high-pressure variant is distinguished by its hard alloy (stellite) seat and disc surfacing, delivering superior erosion and cavitation resistance for severe-duty steam and hydrocarbon service. The J41W-16P variant offers all-stainless steel construction (CF8/CF8M) for corrosive media. Compliant with GB/T 12233 design standards, the J41H/Y series is widely deployed in power plants, chemical processing, oil & gas pipelines, steam distribution networks, and general industrial process control worldwide.

Installation & Maintenance Guidelines
- Flow Direction: Install with flow direction matching the arrow cast on the valve body — globe valves are directional and will not seal properly if reversed.
- Mounting Orientation: Prefer vertical stem-up installation when possible; horizontal installation is acceptable but may require more frequent packing adjustment.
- Stem Clearance: Allow adequate clearance above the handwheel for full stem travel — the rising stem extends significantly when the valve is opened.
- Steam Service: Install a steam trap downstream to prevent condensate hammer which can damage the disc and seat surfaces.
- Packing Maintenance: Periodically inspect flexible graphite packing for leakage. Tighten the packing gland nuts evenly in small increments — overtightening accelerates stem wear.
