Product Overview
H42H vertical lift check valve is an automatic non-return valve designed for installation on vertical pipelines where medium flows upward. The valve disc moves vertically along a guided stem—lifting open when forward flow pressure exceeds the disc weight, and dropping closed by gravity when flow stops or reverses. This gravity-driven mechanism ensures reliable and immediate closure without the need for springs or external actuators. The H42H-25Q model uses a ductile iron body suitable for temperatures up to 300°C, while the H42H-25 model uses WCB cast steel for service up to 425°C. Both models feature 2Cr13 stainless steel disc and seat ring for durable sealing performance. Widely used at vertical pump discharge connections in water supply, power generation, petrochemical, and HVAC systems.

- Applicable International Standards: EN 13709, EN 558 (optional)
Installation & Maintenance Guidelines
- Vertical Installation Only: H42H must be installed on vertical pipelines with upward medium flow. Do NOT install on horizontal lines — the disc will not function correctly without the gravity-assisted closure mechanism.
- Flow Direction: Ensure the medium flows upward through the valve, matching the direction arrow on the valve body. Reverse installation will cause valve failure.
- Pipeline Support: Do not let the valve bear pipeline weight. Large-diameter valves (DN150 and above) require independent support brackets to prevent flange stress.
- Maintenance: Periodically inspect the disc, guided stem, and seat ring for wear or sediment buildup. Clean and replace sealing surfaces as needed to maintain reliable anti-backflow performance.
