Core Strengths

Vertical Installation Design
Specifically engineered for vertical pipeline installation, the disc closes reliably by gravity without spring assistance, making it ideal for pump outlets on vertical discharge lines.
Lift Disc Mechanism
The disc lifts vertically along a guided stem when forward flow pressure acts on it, and drops shut the moment flow stops—ensuring immediate and positive closure against backflow.
2Cr13 Stainless Steel Sealing
Both disc and seat ring are made from 2Cr13 stainless steel, providing excellent wear and corrosion resistance for long-term reliable sealing in demanding service conditions.
Dual Material Options
Available in ductile iron body (H42H-25Q, ≤300°C) or WCB cast steel body (H42H-25, ≤425°C), allowing selection based on temperature and service environment requirements.
Simple & Low-Maintenance Structure
Compact internal construction with minimal moving parts. No springs or external actuators required—gravity-driven closure reduces wear and maintenance costs over the valve’s service life.
Reliable Pump Protection
Installed at vertical pump discharge lines to prevent reverse flow when the pump stops, protecting pump impellers, seals, and pipeline equipment from water hammer and reverse rotation damage.

Product Overview

H42H vertical lift check valve is an automatic non-return valve designed for installation on vertical pipelines where medium flows upward. The valve disc moves vertically along a guided stem—lifting open when forward flow pressure exceeds the disc weight, and dropping closed by gravity when flow stops or reverses. This gravity-driven mechanism ensures reliable and immediate closure without the need for springs or external actuators. The H42H-25Q model uses a ductile iron body suitable for temperatures up to 300°C, while the H42H-25 model uses WCB cast steel for service up to 425°C. Both models feature 2Cr13 stainless steel disc and seat ring for durable sealing performance. Widely used at vertical pump discharge connections in water supply, power generation, petrochemical, and HVAC systems.

Design & Manufacturing Standards

  • Design Standard: GB/T 12235
  • Face-to-Face Dimensions: GB/T 12221
  • Flange Standards: GB/T 9113, JB/T 79, HG/T 20596
  • Testing & Inspection: GB/T 13927, JB/T 9092
  • Applicable International Standards: EN 13709, EN 558 (optional)

Installation & Maintenance Guidelines

  • Vertical Installation Only: H42H must be installed on vertical pipelines with upward medium flow. Do NOT install on horizontal lines — the disc will not function correctly without the gravity-assisted closure mechanism.
  • Flow Direction: Ensure the medium flows upward through the valve, matching the direction arrow on the valve body. Reverse installation will cause valve failure.
  • Pipeline Support: Do not let the valve bear pipeline weight. Large-diameter valves (DN150 and above) require independent support brackets to prevent flange stress.
  • Maintenance: Periodically inspect the disc, guided stem, and seat ring for wear or sediment buildup. Clean and replace sealing surfaces as needed to maintain reliable anti-backflow performance.
