RZ47F / RZ43F Gas Plate Gate Valve
- • Gas plate gate valve designed specifically for natural gas, LNG, and coal gas pipelines
• Two types: RZ47F (non-rising stem) and RZ43F (rising stem), PN10–PN40
• Floating O-ring seat with preloading force ensures zero-leakage sealing at both ends
• Self-cleaning disc design prevents abrasive erosion and extends service life
• Full-bore design allows pigging/pipeline cleaning when fully open

The RZ47F and RZ43F are gas-specific plate (slab) gate valves engineered exclusively for city gas pipeline networks, natural gas distribution systems, and industrial gas handling applications. Designed to address the unique challenges of gas service — including solidification-induced sticking, leakage under low pressure, and difficult operation — these valves feature a revolutionary floating O-ring seat assembly that delivers true zero-leakage performance in both directions.
Both models are constructed from WCB cast steel body and bonnet with surface-treated alloy steel disc and seat ring, 2Cr13 stainless steel stem, aluminium bronze stem nut, expanded graphite packing, and PTFE sealing rings. Available in pressure classes PN10, PN16, PN25, and PN40 across sizes DN50 through DN1000, with operating temperatures from −29°C to 121°C. The self-cleaning disc mechanism automatically removes particulates during every stroke, while the full-bore design permits pigging operations for pipeline maintenance.

- Install with adequate support on both upstream and downstream piping. Gas service requires proper anchoring to prevent stress transmission to the valve body.
- Flush the pipeline thoroughly before commissioning to prevent welding slag, scale, or debris from damaging the alloy steel seat surfaces.
- Do not use the handwheel as a lifting point — excessive force can damage the stem threads, bonnet assembly, and O-ring seals.
- Periodically inject oil-resistant sealing grease through the grease fitting to maintain optimal O-ring lubrication and sealing performance.
- For valves in long-term idle storage, operate the handwheel periodically (monthly recommended) to prevent seat ring seizing due to gas residue accumulation.
