Gaoshan Valve — Z45X Rubber Gate Valve
Model: Z45X | Pressure: PN10 ~ PN16 | Connection: Flanged | Medium: Water
Non-Corrosive Fluids
The Z45X is a flanged resilient-seated gate valve specifically engineered for water supply, distribution, and transmission systems. Featuring an innovative fully-coated NBR rubber seat design where both the body cavity and disc are lined with nitrile-butadiene rubber (NBR), this valve delivers exceptional sealing performance even in water containing sand, silt, and suspended solids — conditions where traditional metal-seated valves would fail.
Constructed from ductile cast iron (HT200) body and bonnet with full internal and external epoxy coating, 2Cr13 stainless steel stem, and NBR rubber gaskets, the Z45X offers outstanding corrosion resistance for long-term buried or submerged service. Available in sizes DN50 through DN600 at PN10 and PN16 pressure ratings with working temperatures up to 80°C, this series meets GB/T 12232 design standards and is widely deployed in municipal waterworks, irrigation networks, fire protection systems, and HVAC water circuits worldwide.

- Install vertically or horizontally as required by pipeline orientation. Ensure adequate clearance for handwheel operation and maintenance access.
- Flush the pipeline thoroughly before installation to prevent debris from damaging the NBR rubber-coated seal surfaces during initial commissioning.
- Do not use the handwheel as a lifting point — excessive force can damage the bonnet assembly, stem threads, and NBR rubber seals.
- For valves installed but idle over extended periods, operate the handwheel periodically (monthly recommended) to prevent the NBR rubber seat from bonding to the disc surface.
- Inspect NBR gaskets during routine maintenance. Replace if signs of hardening, cracking, or permanent compression set are observed.
