Install vertically with valve stem upright. Side or inverted mounting is not permitted.
For large-sized valves, open the bypass valve first to equalize pressure before full operation.
Lubricate the valve stem monthly on idle valves to prevent jamming and corrosion.
Underground installation: specify buried anti-corrosion coating when ordering.
